Job Responsibilities



  • Actively participates in the design, analysis, administration, and communication of compensation programs.

  • Assists with the coordination of the annual merit process.

  • Partners with HR staff and company managers by providing data analysis and answers to compensation related questions and best practice solutions.

  • Uses knowledge of analytical and quantitative techniques to perform regular and ad hoc compensation analysis with recommendations for action if needed.

  • Conducts market compensation studies and analyses for new and existing positions to determine competitive compensation ranges for hiring, promoting and internal pay equity.

  • Reviews periodically, or as requested by HR or management, job requirements to analyze job worth and assign appropriate market benchmarks to determine baseline competitive pay. Recommends, as needed, corrective action or alternative actions to resolve issues or discrepancies.

  • Manages salary structure and benchmark maintenance in MarketPay software to ensure current and accurate data; performs updates to published compensation reports as necessary.

  • Audits annual updates for all market benchmarks in MarketPay to understand market pay trends and external pay volatility; provides summary reports to Director of Compensation & HRIS.

  • Participates in salary surveys and performs analysis of results to determine the company’s external market to internal pay equity.

  • Assigns competency codes and creates/updates job codes and job titles in the HRIS and notifies appropriate HR staff members of the changes.

Pay: $75k-83k. 


Location: Ft. Worth 


 


Required Qualifications :
 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Human Resources, Finance, Business, Mathematics or Data Analytics) preferred; 

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 2-4 years of related compensation experience required.


 


SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS



  • SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred; CCP desirable but not required.

  • Advanced Excel proficiency required. 

  • Data analysis, data mining and statistical analysis as related to compensation and workforce data required. 

  • Understanding of databases and data extraction helpful.

  • Practical knowledge and understanding of the compensation function, including administering base and incentive programs and building/maintaining salary structures.

  • Practical knowledge of human resource laws, regulations and best practices as relates to compensation.

  • Experience with MarketPay and/or other compensation and HRIS applications strongly preferred.
