Job Title: HRIS Analyst

Location: Plano

Hybrid After 90 days (3 in office/ 2 WFH)

 


 


We are looking for an HRIS Analyst for for our Client in Plano. This role will manage and support all HR software and database-related activities. In addition, this role serves as the technical contact for specific HR functions, helping with system configuration, data accuracy, testing system updates, report writing, and analyzing data for process improvements. The HRIS Analyst also assists with system upgrades, patches, and other technical projects by working closely with IT and staff to review and update business processes.


 


Responsibilities:



  • Provide daily support to the HRIS Manager, including testing system projects and documenting new processes.

  • Maintain accurate HR data in coordination with the HR Coordinator.

  • Act as a technical liaison between HR, Payroll, Budget, and third-party vendors.

  • Work with HR staff to evaluate software needs and modify the system to meet changing demands.

  • Analyze and update business processes using PeopleSoft or similar systems, ensuring they align with business needs.

  • Suggest process improvements, policy changes, and new solutions for leadership approval.

  • Manage various HR projects related to systems, data, and process development across HR areas (benefits, compensation, training, performance management, etc.).

  • Create and maintain reports using appropriate tools, troubleshooting and identifying trends through data analysis.

  • Ensure data accuracy by running queries and coordinating data clean-up efforts.

  • Develop training materials and train staff on new processes or system functions.

  • Ensure the system complies with data privacy regulations and internal policies.

  • Assist IT with user access and security profile management, ensuring appropriate access levels.


 


Required Qualifications :

 



  • 3-5 years' of experience implementing and maintaining PeopleSoft or related HR Systems.

  • Bachelor’s degree or related work experience.

  • Understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility, enrollment rules, and benefit procedures to ensure correct implementation. 


  • Governmental organization experience.   



  • Excellent communication skills. 

  • Strong experience with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong understanding of HRIS database design, functions, processes, and experience with database tools.
