Job Title: Injection Molding Process Technician
Location: Fort Worth, TX 76177

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM


• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (+ $1.00/hr shift differential)


• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (+ $1.50/hr shift differential)

Job Overview:

As an Injection Molding Process Technician, you will support manufacturing operations for specific products, ensuring machines run efficiently and processes are optimized. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and collaboration with multiple teams to maintain quality production.

Responsibilities:

• Follow procedures and protocols for addressing press alarms, production priorities, and test runs.


• Complete production test runs, summarize results, update the MRP system, and communicate findings to stakeholders.


• Transfer processes between machines, validate processes, create setup sheets, and maintain documentation.


• Collaborate with process, tooling, quality, maintenance, and production teams to identify and resolve issues.


• Document all process changes in the process change log worksheet.


• Maintain standardized communication with peers, operations, and vendors through verbal, written, and formal updates.


• Start and stop molding machines based on predetermined priority schedules, including full shutdowns for mold changes.


• Support molding and quality teams with corrective actions and process improvements.


• Ensure molds run within defined process parameters and provide support on the molding floor.


• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the molding floor.


• Assist in setup and improvement of part containment at molding machines.


• Implement and sustain a safe and clean molding floor.


• Perform camera setup and installation as requested by Operations and Engineering.


• Set up and fine-tune Sprue Pickers and Robots (Yushin Sprue Pickers and Robots).


• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 2+ years of experience with injection molding.


• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Good communication skills for collaboration across departments.


• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
