IT Workday Systems Analyst
We are seeking an IT Workday Systems Analyst to join our Client’s team in Plano. This role will assist with the Workday platform to ensure it supports HR, payroll, and finance operations efficiently. This role will be crucial in maintaining the system, providing solutions, and driving improvements.
The IT Workday Systems Analyst will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the Workday system to meet business needs. The role includes handling system upgrades, troubleshooting issues, implementing new functionalities, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure the platform aligns with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in Workday HCM, Payroll, or Finance modules and possess strong technical and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage the Workday platform, ensuring system configurations align with business requirements.
- Maintain and configure Workday modules, including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Finance, as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within Workday, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient system performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve and optimize Workday functionalities and business processes.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and other departments to implement new features or process enhancements.
- Lead and execute system upgrades and patches, ensuring proper testing and documentation before deployment.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within Workday, overseeing data uploads, audits, and regular system checks.
- Generate custom reports and dashboards to provide insights to HR, Payroll, and Finance teams.
- Develop custom workflows, reports, and integrations to meet business needs.
- Provide end-user support for Workday-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution of user inquiries.
- Conduct training sessions and create user guides to ensure effective utilization of Workday across the organization.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday systems and related processes.
- Ensure system configurations adhere to company policies and legal regulations, including GDPR, SOX, and data privacy laws.
- Maintain proper access control and user permissions in Workday, ensuring data security and compliance.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks within the system.
- Manage integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, Payroll, or Benefits systems).
- Work with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and automation.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience working with Workday HCM, Payroll, Finance, or other Workday modules.
- Hands-on experience with system configuration, report generation, and integrations within Workday.
- Strong technical knowledge of Workday modules and system configuration.
- Proficiency in Workday reporting and data management tools.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Workday.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders and end-users.
- Project management skills, with the ability to lead system upgrades and new feature rollouts.
