Job Title: Electrician

Pay: $25/hr+ depending on experience. $2K Retention Bonus!*

Hours: Monday - Friday from 6:30am - 3pm. Must be flexible as needed.

We are looking for a Journeyman Electrician for our Client in Plano, TX. This individual will maintain and repair all electrical systems . This is accomplished by PM inspection, Customer Service Request, planned work, special projects and emergency repairs. Other duties include referencing drawings for the location of various components compiling electrical systems, locating and marking utilities for contractors and advising contractors on requirements for the installation of electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine and emergency electrical repairs, including troubleshooting and inspecting systems, locating underground circuits, identifying damaged conductors, and making necessary repairs.

Troubleshoot motor control circuits and associated equipment.

Read and evaluate blueprints, and interpret the National Electrical Code for our Client's and contractor projects.

Order equipment and supplies as needed for various electrical tasks.

Install electrical systems for new construction, special projects, and modify existing systems as required.

Inspect contractor work and complete tasks outside the contractor’s scope when necessary.

Operate vehicles and equipment during inclement weather, make minor property and equipment repairs, set and monitor goals, and manage costs.

Perform hand excavation and trench digging as required.

Required Qualifications :

Requirements:

4 - 5 years electrical apprenticeship resulting in licensing, or an associate or bachelor’s degree resulting in same licensure.

3 - 5 years of electrical experience

Ability to obtain Texas Journeyman’s electrician license within 6 months of hire.

Ability to obtain Texas class “B” CDL within 6 months of hire.

Preferred:

At least 5 years’ electrical experience

Texas Journeyman’s electrician license

Texas class “B” CDL
