Job Title: Maintenance Tech I - Night Shift

Pay: $21/hr 

Location: Frisco, TX

Hours: Sunday - Wednesday 7:30pm - 6am

We are seeking a Landscape Maintenance Technician to manage Client’s landscape assets along a designated Tollway. Responsibilities include litter and debris removal, weeding, and various landscape maintenance tasks to enhance the appearance and condition of the landscape. You will operate heavy equipment such as dump trucks, tractors, forklifts, and mowers. Tasks also include tree and shrub trimming, plant installation, landscape modifications, and applying pesticides. Additionally, you will assist with landscape inspections and preventive maintenance. This is an essential position, requiring attendance during emergencies and inclement weather.

Responsibilities:

• Remove, replace, and repair guardrail, attenuators, and associated roadway safety items.  Cleans riprap, drains, joints, and assists with erosion repair/prevention projects.  


• Performs concrete & asphalt pavement repairs and other repair/construction tasks.


• Remove litter, debris, and unwanted items within Client’s landscape areas.


• Perform landscape maintenance including weeding, mulch replacement, fertilizing, and erosion repair.


• Conduct blowing, edging, weed eating, and trimming of brush and trees.


• Assist with installing, removing, and replacing landscape materials like ornamental grasses, shrubs, and trees.


• Apply herbicides and insecticides under the direction of a licensed pesticide applicator.


• Assist in landscape irrigation repairs with an irrigation technician or licensed irrigator.


• Participate in snow and ice events, preparing, operating, and cleaning equipment.


• Operate and inspect all equipment, tools, and vehicles before and after use.


• Report any damage or failures according to established procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Up to 1 year of experience


• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain Texas Class “C” driver’s license within 30 days of hire. 


• Ability to obtain Texas Class “B” CDL within 12 months of hire.
