Maintenance Tech
· Work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
· Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of equipment, including but not limited to appliance repairs, electrical, plumbing and miscellaneous repairs.
· Follow OSHA safety procedures and comply with company standards.
· Come to work with an energetic, ready-to-work attitude.
· Implement and maintain preventive maintenance on all equipment and machinery within the plant, as noted in the equipment manufacturer's guidelines.
· Visually inspect and test machinery to detect malfunction. Communicate equipment problems to operations staff as needed. Ensure safety procedures in use consistently (Lock out, tag out, etc.).
· Diagnose problems, dismantle defective machines and equipment, and install new or repaired parts, following the specifications set forth in blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings.
· Building maintenance and lighting (plumbing repair, changing lamps & ballasts, light remodeling, refrigeration systems, etc.).
· Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
· Require following GMP's and Safety Regulations.
· Responsible for working until relieved by supervisor/ manager. This may require working longer than schedule work hours.
· Mechanical and electrical experience required
· Welding and fabricating experience a plus
· Mechanical and electrical experience required
· 3+ years of experience in a related field
· Ability to work in a cold environment
· Ability to take on lean manufacturing projects for continuous improvements.
· Good communication skills
· Facilities operations & maintenance skills
