Pay: $17 to $19 (based on experience)
Shift: 6am to 2pm Monday – Saturday
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Manufacturing Assembler – Kitting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, and products to support production operations. You will play a key role in ensuring that materials are accurately kitted and delivered to the appropriate areas, maintaining smooth workflow within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, and requisitions to determine materials to be moved or distributed.
- Transport materials from receiving or production areas to designated storage or workstations.
- Sort and organize materials on racks, shelves, or bins based on size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Kit materials accurately and distribute them to production workers or assembly lines as scheduled.
- Label materials with identifying information and ensure proper documentation.
- Open boxes, bins, and containers to verify contents and condition.
- Record amounts of materials received or distributed using inventory systems.
- Weigh or count items to ensure they meet company standards.
- Arrange stock parts in the correct sequence for assembly processes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and enter data into the computer system.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 months of related experience in material handling, warehousing, or a similar environment preferred.
- Strong math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of large numbers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of database systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret production documents, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to talk, hear, walk, stand, and use hands for handling materials regularly.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to lift and move materials weighing up to 25-50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
