Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician 


Location: Lewisville, TX


 


 


We are seeking a skilled Equipment/Building Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance of our Client’s manufacturing warehouse facilities in the Lewisville area. The ideal candidate will have experience in basic building upkeep, coordinating building maintenance, a strong understanding of manufacturing machines specifically related to electrical and preventative maintenance. 


 


Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the life of building systems and equipment.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing equipment like CNC machines and more, including basic electrical knowledge.

  • Collaborate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance services when necessary.

  • Monitor and maintain the inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring timely reordering.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA, and ensure the team follows best practices for workplace safety.

  • Maintain documentation of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive tasks.

  • Coordinate with other departments, including production, to ensure maintenance activities are aligned with operational needs.

  • Provide training and guidance to junior technicians, ensuring adherence to best practices in building maintenance and safety.

  • Respond to emergency maintenance calls during off-hours or weekends as needed.


Required Qualifications :

Qualifications:


 



  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • 5+ years of experience in a basic building maintenance and manufacturing equipment.

  • 5+ years of electrical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment.

  • Proven leadership experience in managing a maintenance team.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA standards.

  • Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.


 


Physical Requirements:


 


Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.


Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and perform tasks that require standing, bending, and kneeling.


Must be able to work in varying conditions, including indoor and outdoor environments.
