We are seeking a Procurement Systems Analyst to join our Client’s team in Plano. This role is critical to ensuring our procurement systems and processes run efficiently, supporting the strategic sourcing and procurement goals.


 


The Procurement Systems Analyst will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting the procurement systems and tools. This role plays a key part in automating procurement workflows, improving system functionality, and ensuring data accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience in procurement processes, and expertise in procurement systems like SAP, Oracle, or Workday.


 


Responsibilities:


 



  • Serve as the primary administrator of the procurement systems (Workday, Oracle etc.).

  • Ensure system functionality aligns with business needs, and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate procurement processes within the system.

  • Collaborate with the procurement and supply chain teams to optimize workflows and ensure system usage aligns with operational goals.

  • Continuously assess procurement system performance and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.

  • Generate detailed reports on procurement activity, supplier performance, and spending data.

  • Conduct data analysis to support procurement strategies, vendor negotiations, and cost-saving initiatives.

  • Provide training and technical support to procurement and finance teams on system usage, best practices, and process improvements.

  • Create user guides, documentation, and training materials to facilitate system adoption across the organization.

  • Ensure procurement processes and systems comply with company policies and relevant regulations.

  • Support audits by providing system documentation, data reports, and compliance records as needed.

  • Collaborate with internal audit and legal teams to ensure system configurations meet regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in managing relationships with system vendors, including negotiating contracts, managing software licenses, and coordinating system upgrades.

  • Monitor system vendor performance and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.


Required Qualifications :
 

  • Bachelor’s degree or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in procurement systems administration or supply chain systems support.

  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management.

  • Hands-on experience with procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, Jaggaer, etc.).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and interpret large sets of data.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools.

  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and provide system training.

  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience with ERP system integrations and data migration.

  • Experience in system implementations or upgrades.

  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools and data visualization platforms.
