Job Title: Purchasing Manager

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team at a leading forklift dealer and supply chain solutions provider. This role will oversee procurement operations, vendor relationships, and inventory management to ensure cost-effective and timely sourcing of materials and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives.


• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness.


• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors.


• Oversee inventory control and maintain optimal stock levels.


• Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and risk mitigation.


• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, service, and operations, to meet procurement needs.


• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and legal regulations.


• Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to procurement and inventory management.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field.


• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the material handling or industrial equipment industry.


• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.


• Proficiency in procurement software and tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Strong communication and leadership skills with a team-oriented mindset.
