Job Title: Quality Control Technician 

Location: Fort Worth

 


Hours:











2nd shift: 2pm - 10pm Monday - Saturday
3rd shift: 10pm - 6am Monday - Saturday

What You’ll Do:



  • Conduct inspections on molded and purchased parts using MicroVu vision system, calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.

  • Examine materials for surface defects like cracks, pits, or short shots.

  • Electronically record dimensional data to verify compliance with engineering specifications.

  • Compare products against technical blueprints and written standards to ensure quality conformity.

  • Communicate inspection results to the Tooling, Molding, and Quality teams.

  • Generate and report quality advisements to QA Engineers or Supervisors.

  • Work with warehouse personnel to place approved parts into inventory.

  • Assist in calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.

  • Help investigate defective parts and root causes to improve quality standards.

  • Provide support to assembly, molding, kitting, warehouse, and other departments when needed.



Required Qualifications :



  • 6+ months of related experience 

  • Ability to read and interpret detailed part and assembly prints.

  • Experience with MicroVu or other measurement equipment is a plus!

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook).

  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
