Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Dallas, TX
Hours: Mon-Thurs from 9:00am - 6:00pm and Fri 9:00am – 5:00pm


 


We are seeking a Receptionist to join our client's firm in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience managing emails, and excellent phone etiquette. In this role, you will greet clients, manage communications, schedule appointments, as well as maintain office areas, including break rooms. Key qualities for success include punctuality, reliability, and a professional appearance.


 


Responsibilities:



  • Greet clients and visitors upon arrival, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in a courteous and efficient manner.

  • Manage and organize emails, ensuring timely responses and appropriate distribution.

  • Schedule and confirm appointments, maintaining an organized calendar for legal staff.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and kitchen, including daily stocking and cleaning.

  • Assist with general administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, faxing, and filing documents.

  • Ensure all office supplies are adequately stocked and reorder as necessary.

  • Coordinate mail flow, including receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming correspondence and packages.

  • Assist legal staff with basic tasks as needed, with training provided for specific duties related to bankruptcy or paralegal work.


Required Qualifications :
Requirements:

  • 1+ years of related experience.

  • Must have HS diploma or equivalent.

  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Experience managing emails and maintaining professional correspondence.

  • Excellent phone etiquette with strong verbal communication skills.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Reliability and punctuality are essential; must be dependable with a strong work ethic.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

  • Prior experience in a legal setting is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.

  • Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
