Job Posting: Tooling Support Technician

Location: North Fort Worth, TX
Pay: $18 - $21 per hour (Based on Experience)
Hours:  3rd shift: Monday - Saturday 10pm - 6am

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tooling Support Technician to join our team in North Fort Worth. In this role, you will support manufacturing operations by performing tooling and mold maintenance activities. Your work will ensure that molds and tooling components are properly cleaned, maintained, and ready for production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform in-press mold cleanings and minor in-press mold maintenance.


• Use dry ice blasters to clean molds and tooling components effectively.


• Address tooling work orders and support production priorities according to protocols.


• Complete tooling work orders accurately with thorough documentation.


• Communicate effectively with peers, operators, and leadership, both verbally and in writing.


• Follow a priority schedule to perform mold cleanings, slide PMs, and other maintenance tasks.


• Collaborate with the molding department to maintain a clean and safe production floor.


• Provide support in the tool room when not assigned to the molding floor.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in mold maintenance is a plus.


• Prior experience using dry ice blasters for cleaning is preferred.


• Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with injection molding processes are a plus.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures.


• Good verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and use hands for extended periods.


• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.


• Comfortable with tasks that may involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.


• Ability to work in environments with occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals.


• Good vision, including close, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
