We are seeking a Tooling Technician in a manufacturing environment in North Fort Worth. This individual will be responsible for maintaining, setting up, and adjusting injection molding machines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform preventative maintenance and insert changes on injection molds with accuracy and efficiency.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and tool changes.
- Identify tooling issues and report them to the Tooling Lead.
- Assist in analyzing and resolving tool breakage or damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Help create and update work instructions, photo documentation, and tool history logs.
- Organize and track mold spare parts and standard components.
- Support production operations as needed.
EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience in a tooling or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with injection mold maintenance and repairs.
- Strong understanding of the injection molding process.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities.
