Position: 2nd Shift Manufacturing Team Leader

Shift: Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 2:30am (OT available)

Pay: $24-$26/hr

 

We are looking for a 2nd shift Manufacturing Team Leader for our Client in Mesquite. This individual will lead a group or team in fabrication in a manufacturing facility. This role supervises, mentors and trains personnel to deliver on production goals.  



Job Duties:


 



  • Trains new and current teams

  • Loads and off-loads trucks by hand, forklift or overhead crane

  • Fabricates and/or assembles material, using manual and power hand tools

  • Inspects and packages items prior to shipment

  • Assists shift supervisor 

  • Creates a safe work environment by following safety procedures, proactively looking for safety hazards and reports near misses



 



Required Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience supervising in similar environments (construction and carpentry or manufacturing)

  • Must be able to walk, bend, twist, squat and climb on an occasional basis, stand and talk on a frequent basis and use one's fingers and reach on a continuous basis

  • Bending, squatting, climbing and twisting are required on an occasional basis. 

  • Pushing up to 60 pounds and pulling up to 30 pounds is also occasionally required. 

  • Lifting up to 40 pounds is required frequently. 

  • Must be reliable and a positive motivator
